They will be writing scripts in order to make a four minute skit, which they will present some where in the end of the school year. “I’m still not sure what I want to do,” says journalist student, Ellesse O’neal. “There are a lot of scenes to choose from, and I have a lot on my mind. The only thing I’m worried about right now is the props. I don’t know how to dress, talk, but I’m sure my group will think of something.” “In Cold Blood” is a real life story about the horrific killing of the Clutter family, in a small town of Holcomb, Kansas. The two killers involved with the murder have two different personalities, and the book allows you to understand their side of the story. One of the killers can easily win sympathy by many readers because he was so traceable by the other killer involved. It is a great book to read, and it is highly recommended. “I love to read books, and this one was really interesting,” said Donika Shala, a New Dorp Student. “I read the book anytime I can, even though I try not to go ahead of the class, I just can’t help it. The book is very boring in the beginning but it gets better as you go on. I really loved it and I hope people don’t give up reading it because of the first few pages. I also have many ideas in mind, and I already chose what I want to do, but I will be keeping it a secret.” So why not pick up the book and read it for yourself? It is a wonderful book that gets interesting as you go on. Most of the New Dorp students seem to love the book, but right now finishing their script is their top priority. Their scenes will be recorded and played for the rest of the class to observe. It is unknown yet if it will be shown outside the class. Tweet

Dear John starts in the present day with John watching Savannah from afar and thinking about how much he loves her and why their relationship dissolved.
