Lego World at Rockefeller Center.
The day started off as any day would, kids all woke up and got ready for their usual school day. But this particular day, was different. The ACMA students got to experience an adventure, by going to Manhattan. About a 100 students attemded the trip. The kids were unaware of the specific destination; only the teachers knew and they refused tdo tell us.
When we finally arrived at our destination and got off the buses, the cold air instantly hit us. It was freezing. Out first stop was F.A.O. Schwarz. When we walked in, it was an amazing sight to see. There were toys in every direction you turned to. The toys were seperated by themes and categories, such as Barbie, LEGOs, and the most important of all, Harry Potter. It was an immaculate view of everything, it definitely brought out the kid in everyone. I honestly thought that nothing could compete, but I was very wrong.
Our second destination was Rockefeller Center. We were given an hour to go anywhere we wanted to, without any supervision. With many places to choose from, I couldn’t decided where I wanted to go, and then, I saw something that had to be the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen, LEGO world.

The second I walked in, it was like love at first sight. All i could hear was children’s laughter. Everthing was just amazing and made of LEGOs. What stood out the most was this dragon that went around the entire building, made of LEGOs of course. It was just beautiful. They also had different categories there as well. One that I thought was the best was the harry Potter themes section. Hogwarts, the entire school, was made from LEGOs, complete with the characters from the movie. For those very few that don’t know, Harry Potter is a film based on the series “Harry Potter” but J. K. Rowling. It’s about a boy who finds out he’s a wizard (as well as the chosen one.) He goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he gets into mischiefs, learns about his past and choses his future, with the help of his two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. What made the theme of Harry Potter more interesting is that there were different scenes from the actual series, all built from LEGOs. Another spectacular thing that was found inside was an actual structure of the Rockefeller Center, which can be seen right outside of the window if you were to look straight. It had different LEGO characters that represented various people at the location. It was the most wonderful thing I laid my eyes on. I never wanted to leave.
But as we know, all good things much come to an end. Time went by quickly and before I knew it, we all had to go back to our original location where everyone once again met up to go home. But i didn’t go home without getting anything from my wonderful experience. I got 3 key chains from LEGO World, which now proudly display themselves on my keys. Whenever I look at them, I’m always reminded of that eventful moment of my life, which I will never forget.
