Throughout the development of the human race, different opinions and opposing groups were created. Opposing groups always took different sides of a story and interpreted them on their own. In the United States, protesters threw their opinions into the public and revolved. One example of a protest in the United States that is recent is the protest on Wall Street.

First of all, the protesters on Wall Street are protesting for Socialism within their work place. Socialism by definition means equality among all the people ( Known as Communism in Cuba, China, and Post Soviet Union ). The protesters want an equality between themselves and the rich hard-working men on Wall Street. In my opinion, I think that is it very unfair for the rich to give money to the non-working class heroes. Why should the non-working get their money from the rich? The rich worked hard in school and college to get a higher education and be successful in their career while the non-working dropped out of college and it’s only their fault for bad grades. You get what you deserve as the old saying states. It is not the fault of the rich that the non-working people did not meet their requirements in education and the rich should not give money from their wallets and salaries to the non-working. I am against Socialism in this field and for me, Socialism is unfair in the working career. As we can see, I am straight against the protest on Wall Street.

Second of all, the protesters are protesting in a public park. The park is located across from Wall Street. Because so many protesters are attending the park on daily basis, the hygiene level decreases among the people and can lead to diseases and in the worst case, even death. Back in the late 1800′s in northern Europe, a plague struck and lead to the death of millions. Because of the amount of people living close to each other, the plague quickly spread and caused death. In a park full of protesters, a disease can start up and spread quickly and cause death of millions. As we can see, stopping the protest can result in avoiding a plague and spreading diseases.

On the other hand, protesters might be right in staring a protest. Due to the great amount of young college students protesting, the government will “hear” their cries and voices. The United States’ government is luckily democratic, unlike other places worldwide. Since there is democracy, all the people have a say in the government. If the government hears protesters’ voices, it might change the rules around to lead to a solution and peace between opposing groups. Changing the rules and listening to people’s voices can result the termination of the protest. As we can see, the protesters can be right; but I still prefer to stay on the counter-side of the Socialism.

In the end, protest on Wall Street is one of the most recent protests that occurred in the United States. Opposing groups always took different sides on a story and interpreted them on their own. Therefore, different opinions and opposing groups always existed in our society.
